Why It MattersThe tie-up shows aeromedical operators increasingly pairing clinical evacuation expertise with private aviation providers to assemble 24/7 ICU-equipped jet coverage without building both capabilities in-house.

What happened

Swift Air Ambulance Services Ltd and FlyPeejay Technologies Ltd have announced a formal partnership to provide round-the-clock private jet medical evacuation services. The agreement was led by AbdulAzeez Yinka Oniyangi, Chief Executive Officer of Swift Air Ambulance Services Ltd, and Sani Nadabo Chanchangi of FlyPeejay Technologies Ltd, establishing a joint framework for rapid-response aeromedical operations.

Under the partnership, the two companies will deliver rapid-response private jet medevac for critical care patients, ICU-configured aircraft staffed by trained aeromedical teams, bed-to-bed transfer coordination with hospitals, and 24/7 emergency dispatch and aviation operations support. Oniyangi said the collaboration would strengthen the company's capacity to save lives: "This collaboration strengthens our capacity to save lives by combining world-class aeromedical expertise with reliable private aviation technology." Chanchangi said FlyPeejay Technologies Ltd was proud to join the partnership: "We are proud to partner with Swift Air Ambulance Services Ltd to ensure patients have access to fast, safe, and efficient medical evacuation when it matters most."

The companies stated that inquiries and emergency medevac requests should be directed to Swift Air Ambulance Services Ltd.

Industry impact & what to watch

Partnerships like this one follow a familiar structure in aeromedical aviation: a clinical evacuation operator pairs with a private aviation technology provider so that medical staffing, aircraft configuration, dispatch and hospital coordination can be offered as a single around-the-clock service rather than assembled case by case. Bundling ICU-configured aircraft, trained aeromedical teams and bed-to-bed hospital coordination under one point of contact is what lets a provider promise continuous emergency availability instead of ad hoc charter arrangements.

What remains to be seen is how the two companies divide operational responsibility in practice — fleet sourcing, crew staffing and dispatch authority were described jointly but not broken out individually. The next indicator will be whether Swift Air Ambulance Services Ltd, as the named point of contact for inquiries and emergency requests, reports actual case volumes or response times under the new arrangement.
