Avi-Go data reveals sustained YoY growth, seasonal patterns, and record-breaking autumn demand

Dubai’s business aviation sector is gaining altitude. Based on the latest Avi-Go business jet takeoff analysis, Dubai recorded 9,691 private jet departures from January to October 2025, an 8.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The data signals not just a post-pandemic rebound, but sustained market expansion driven by corporate travel, global events, and the UAE’s rising status as a premium aviation hub.

Growth was consistent throughout most of the year. Nine out of ten months outperformed 2024 levels, with only March 2025 seeing a slight dip, likely influenced by temporary external factors such as holiday timing, regional travel cycles, or market fluctuations. Despite this, momentum recovered quickly, and demand surged even stronger later in the year.

Autumn Surge Highlights Dubai’s Global Aviation Pull

The final quarter of 2025 emerged as the most powerful growth window, with September and October climbing above 20% year-on-year, the strongest increases of the observed period. October became the busiest month on record, reinforcing a clear trend: Dubai’s business jet activity peaks in Q4.

This seasonal surge aligns with the city’s role as a global stage for high-profile events, investment summits, exhibitions, and international commercial movement. As temperatures cool and the global business calendar intensifies, private jet demand accelerates, cementing Dubai’s position as a top world hub for business aviation traffic.

While demand traditionally dips in summer, 2025 still delivered growth through June, July, and August, demonstrating a market that is not only resilient but expanding beyond seasonal limitations.

What This Means for the Future of Business Aviation in Dubai

The 8.6% year-to-date growth reflects a sector moving from recovery to long-term acceleration. For industry players, including charter operators, brokers, FBOs, airports, and business aviation service providers, the trajectory points toward continued demand, particularly in the final quarter of each year.

The data reinforces several key shifts in Dubai’s private aviation landscape:

  • Sustained corporate and VIP travel appetite
  • Q4 emerging as the strongest operational window
  • Steady growth despite seasonal slow months
  • Dubai’s expanding role as a connector across Europe, Africa, and Asia
  • Rising opportunities for aviation services and charter capacity planning

As 2026 approaches, the forecast is clear: Dubai is not just recovering its business jet activity, it is scaling into a new growth phase, strengthening its reputation as one of the world’s most active, strategic, and future-ready business aviation markets.
