Fastest-Growing Business Aviation Markets in South America (2025)

The South American Business Aviation sector is experiencing a powerful resurgence, significantly outpacing global averages. What began as a post-pandemic rebound has evolved into a deeper, structural transformation, one driven by economic recovery, regional trade expansion, and the growing role of private aviation in connecting key business hubs across the continent. From Brazil’s agricultural heartlands to the Andean corridor, flight activity is accelerating in both scale and sophistication.
Rapid Regional Growth Driven by Economic Recovery
Between January and August 2025, the region logged 95,796 business jet movements, up from 72,910 in the same period of 2024—marking a robust +31.39% year-on-year increase. The top 10 countries achieved a 39.76% weighted average growth, with six surpassing the 30% mark. This surge reflects how business aviation is becoming a preferred mobility solution amid economic revival, improved airport infrastructure, and increasing cross-border commerce.
Brazil continues to dominate the regional landscape, recording a +45.14% surge—from 43,159 to 62,641 movements. This represents an additional 19,482 flights, more than the total annual traffic of most other South American nations. Brazil’s boom is underpinned by a flourishing agribusiness industry, new infrastructure projects, and a stronger currency that has boosted investor confidence. Major cities like São Paulo, Brasília, and Goiânia have become central nodes for executive travel and aircraft operations.
Paraguay, though smaller in volume, achieved an impressive +43.20% growth, expanding from 419 to 600 movements. This reflects the country’s growing integration into Brazil’s economic sphere, as the Asunción–São Paulo corridor becomes an essential route for regional executives and business owners.
Meanwhile, Colombia (+41.73%), Ecuador (+40.60%), and Peru (+34.07%) form part of a synchronized Andean growth pattern, adding more than 1,600 movements combined. This increase points to deeper cooperation among Pacific Alliance economies, where business aviation is overcoming traditional geographic barriers to connect capital cities, mining zones, and coastal industries more efficiently.
A Structural Shift in South American Business Aviation
The consistent expansion across multiple markets signals more than cyclical recovery, it marks a structural shift in how business aviation operates in South America. As governments modernize airports, streamline customs processes, and encourage private investment, the region is witnessing a new phase of connectivity that aligns with global standards.
Corporate travelers and operators alike are benefiting from improved reliability, broader access to aircraft, and growing demand from sectors such as energy, mining, and agriculture. For charter brokers and service providers, this momentum translates into stronger market opportunities, greater fleet utilization, and rising interest from international partners eyeing long-term regional growth.
The future of South American Business Aviation now lies in sustained integration and digital transformation, ensuring that the current wave of expansion evolves into a foundation for smarter, more connected regional mobility.
