Challenger Mid-Heavy Sees Mild European Rebound: Special Missions and Fleet Reactivation Drive Twin Engines At June 2026's Berlin ILA Air Show, Aero-Dienst signed for a second medevac-configured Challenger 650, while AirX returned a Challenger 850 to charter service that same month. Avi-Go data (Jan 1–Jun 18, 2026) shows 2,792 Challenger 650 movements across 90 active aircraft, versus 2,689 Challenger 850 flights on just 33 aircraft—81.5 movements per aircraft, 2.6 times the 650's rate, driven by a few high-frequency Maltese-registered jets.
