Europe's private jet sector includes several major operators and charter brokers offering fractional ownership, on-demand charters, and discounted empty-leg flights. Among the largest operators are Flexjet, NetJets, VistaJet, and Wheels Up. Flexjet, originally a U.S.-based fractional ownership, leasing, and jet card provider, has expanded in Europe by acquiring UK-based Flairjet and PrivateFly and obtaining an Air Operator Certificate in Malta, and it has become the first European private jet provider to operate an in-house helicopter fleet.
Charter brokers such as AZURJET and Vela Club Aviation regularly offer empty-leg routes across Europe, the UK, North Africa, and the Middle East. Listed routes include a Paris (LFPB) to Barcelona (LEBL) flight on 12 June aboard a Cessna Citation XLS+ seating eight, priced at €3,000 for two passengers with €500 per additional passenger; a Vienna (LOWW) to Nice (LFMN) flight on 18 June aboard a Challenger 300 accommodating up to nine passengers; and a Faro (LPFR) to Ibiza (LEIB) flight on 18 June at 08:30 local time.
Brokers such as ExcelEvents also arrange on-demand flights, including routes between Budapest and Cyprus (Larnaca or Paphos), with bookings available by the seat or for the whole aircraft and passenger details typically requested via WhatsApp or email.
