Private Jet Center Appoints Chip Schultz as CEO

Private Jet Center (PJC), a Pittsburgh-based Part 135 charter operator founded in 2006, has appointed Chip Schultz as its new Chief Executive Officer. Schultz previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at flyExclusive, where he oversaw more than 300 pilots and helped grow a 100-aircraft fleet, and earlier held senior roles at Northern Jet Management and TMC Jets. A U.S. Navy veteran and pilot with multiple type ratings, he has logged more than 6,800 flight hours.
PJC began as Pittsburgh Jet Center, a single fixed-base operator outside Pittsburgh, and has grown into one of the top 30 Part 135 operators in the United States, logging more than 8,000 charter hours annually. The company recently renewed its ARGUS Platinum Certification and operates a vertically integrated business spanning aircraft management, Jet Card, charter operations, maintenance, fixed-base operations, and pilot resources.
"Three things will guide everything I do here: safety, service, and culture," Schultz said. Dan Satterlund, co-owner of PJC and Chief Operating Officer of Jets.com, said Schultz's operational expertise and safety background make him well suited to lead the company's next phase of growth.
