Surf Air Mobility Signs Second OperatorOS Contract with SkyDance Air, Targeting Five Operators by End of 2026

Surf Air Mobility announced on September 23, 2026 that it signed a definitive agreement with SkyDance Air for OperatorOS, its SurfOS flight operations software for Part 135 operators, powered by Palantir Technologies. The contract is Surf Air Mobility's second commercial OperatorOS agreement and contributes toward its goal of having five operators live on OperatorOS by the end of 2026. Under the terms, Surf Air Mobility will earn a percentage of revenue from all SkyDance Air flights managed through the software.
SkyDance Air is the second largest single-fleet operator of Cirrus Vision Jets in North America, currently operating three aircraft, with plans to grow to approximately 10 aircraft in 2027. OperatorOS is designed to help SkyDance Air streamline aircraft and crew scheduling, generate operational insights, and reduce manual processes from a single AI-enabled platform.
Liam Fayed, Co-founder of Surf Air Mobility, said the agreement reinforces a trend of operators seeking a single modern software platform to replace fragmented systems and manual processes. David Hackett, President of SkyDance Air, said the platform aligns with the company's technology-forward approach as it scales its Part 135 operations.
OperatorOS has been used internally to run Surf Air Mobility's own airline operations — Southern Airways and Mokulele Airlines — since 2025, and was recently approved by the Federal Aviation Administration as an authorized system of record for electronic signatures and recordkeeping. SurfOS's three flagship products — BrokerOS, OperatorOS, and OwnerOS — are designed to connect brokers, operators, and aircraft owners on a single platform.
