JanaPort Jet Launches in Kazakhstan's Aviation Fuel Market with IATA Accreditation
Why It MattersAn IATA-listed local fuel supplier backed by an AI analytics firm adds a new source of fuel supply and planning data for airlines flying through Kazakhstan.
A new company, JanaPort Jet, has entered the Kazakh aviation fuel market. It was established by Kazakh businesspeople Rakhman Asambayev, Kanat Kopbayev and Orazkhan Karsybekov with equal ownership, representing the Jupiter Jet and Nomad Tankers sides. The transaction was completed in accordance with Kazakhstan's legislation and the regulations of the Astana International Financial Centre.

JanaPort Jet's key areas of activity are aviation fuel supply, ground infrastructure management and the development of a network of refueling facilities, and it will apply artificial intelligence in its operations. It launches with IATA accreditation as a strategic partner in aviation fuel supply and is included in IATA's international partner registry, which gives it direct access to international airlines seeking fuel suppliers in the region.
The company's stated objectives include developing fuel, refueling and logistics infrastructure, improving the accuracy of fuel supply planning for airports, and reducing the risk of supply disruptions for airlines, including on transit flights. It also aims to provide airlines, airports and cargo operators with predictive analytics for transportation planning, develop new cost-effective routes using AI, and strengthen Kazakhstan's transit and logistics potential as a Eurasian hub.
The project's analytical foundation will be powered by Echelon Alpha technologies. Co-founder Kopbayev said they will enable data-driven decision-making and improve the efficiency of cargo and transit transportation. Asambayev, who is also the founder of Echelon Alpha, said 200 million flights have been analyzed to date, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities at each airport and supporting forecasts of transportation volumes, fuel supplies and cargo flow structures.
Jupiter Jet is a Kazakh cargo airline registered in 2004 and headquartered in Almaty. In September 2026 it received its first Boeing 757-200PCF cargo aircraft, named Abai Qunanbaiuly, under a leasing agreement; the aircraft arrived from the United States at Turkistan International Airport. The airline plans to add at least two to three more aircraft over the next three years. Echelon Alpha develops AI-based solutions for aviation, logistics and fuel market analytics, supporting demand forecasting, route optimization and operational planning.
