Honeywell Aerospace and Fly Across Complete First Ensemble Connected-Engine Installation in Latin America on Embraer Praetor 500
Why It MattersConnected-engine data tools are moving from early markets into Latin America through local authorized partners, shifting business jet engine maintenance in the region from manual data retrieval toward automated, ground-based analysis.
Honeywell Aerospace announced the first installation of its Ensemble technology for connected engines in Latin America. Fly Across, Honeywell Aerospace's authorized channel partner for HTF7000 series engines in Mexico, installed it on an Embraer Praetor 500, supported by Honeywell Aerospace field service engineers.

Ensemble works with the Engine Data Gateway (EDG-100), a data transmission device installed on the aircraft that automates the collection and wireless transfer of engine data. Rather than having maintenance teams retrieve the information manually, the system sends it over Wi-Fi for analysis while the aircraft is on the ground. That gives operators faster access to engine performance information and helps maintenance teams spot developing issues before they cause operational disruptions. The technology was developed for aircraft with HTF7000 series engines, including the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600.
Taylor Alberstadt, VP of business and general aviation sales at Honeywell Aerospace, said the installation brings advanced engine technologies and local technical support closer to operators in the region and helps reduce time spent on manual engine data collection. Fly Across CEO Javier Gonzalez said installation and testing were completed within the planned timeframe and that the experience will support future installations in Mexico and across the region. Fly Across was recently integrated into Honeywell Aerospace's network of authorized channel partners, and Honeywell Aerospace expects the experience gained to simplify future Ensemble installations, with field technical support available remotely or in person as needed.
