Greg Lambert, General Manager of Elliott Aviation's Eden Prairie facility, said the milestone shows that CJ1 and CJ2 operators see real value in modernizing these aircraft, which he described as proven airplanes with a lot of useful life remaining. He said the upgrade gives operators a modern cockpit and autopilot solution while letting them keep using an aircraft that already fits their mission.

The Garmin G600 TXi is a touchscreen flight display designed to bring advanced display technology and an intuitive pilot interface to existing aircraft. Paired with Garmin's GFC 600 digital autopilot, it gives CJ1 and CJ2 operators an integrated avionics and flight-control upgrade intended to modernize the cockpit and enhance operational capability.

Elliott Aviation said the milestone builds on its Garmin avionics work. The company says it has developed dedicated expertise in flight deck modernization and has completed more Garmin G5000, G1000 and G1000 NXi retrofits than any other dealer worldwide.
