RTS, the maintenance subsidiary of Reynolds Jet, has received FAA Part 145 repair station approval, which allows it to offer maintenance, repair, and overhaul services beyond Reynolds Jet's own fleet. RTS is based at Cincinnati Lunken Airport and had previously provided MRO support exclusively for Reynolds Jet's aircraft.
John Carter, vice president of maintenance and accountable manager for both Reynolds Jet and RTS, said the certification was driven by a gap in the local market. "As an operator, Reynolds Jet found there was a lack of high-quality business jet maintenance providers in the area, so we developed our own solution," Carter said.
RTS holds airframe and engine ratings for the Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Citation Jet 2, Citation Sovereign, G150, Hawker 400XP, and Hawker 800XP. Reynolds Jet operates a fleet of five business aircraft and is based at Cincinnati Lunken Airport.
