Citadel Aviation has appointed Geurt Boshuizen as Vice President of Operations at its Dallas facility, a move the company says strengthens its leadership in the competitive aviation maintenance, repair, and operations sector. In the role, Boshuizen will oversee site operations, safety protocols, quality assurance, scheduling, financial performance, and team leadership, drawing on more than 36 years of experience in aviation maintenance and production management.

Before joining Citadel Aviation, Boshuizen spent 11 years at Gulfstream Aerospace, most recently as Senior Operations Manager for the Savannah Customer Support Service Center, and previously held General Manager positions at Gulfstream's Van Nuys and Long Beach service centers overseeing West Coast operations. His career also includes roles at TIMCO/HAECO, EmpowerMX, and US Airways, and began in the United States Marine Corps as a CH-46E crew chief, quality assurance inspector, and flight evaluator, where he contributed to early development of the V-22 Osprey program.

Boshuizen holds a degree in Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Eastern New Mexico University, an A&P certificate with Inspection Authorization, and a pilot certificate. The appointment comes as Citadel Aviation works to expand its VIP aviation business amid evolving regulatory demands and increased market competition.
