BBGA Elects Two New Board Members at 2026 Conference and AGM

The British Business & General Aviation Association (BBGA) elected two new members to its Board of Directors at its 2026 Conference and AGM, held in March: Melanie Daglish and Ben Newman.

Melanie Daglish is Director of Aviation at ITIC, a specialist mutual insurer providing professional indemnity insurance to the global transport industries. With nearly 19 years of experience in professional liability insurance, more than 15 of them at ITIC, she has led development of a portfolio supporting more than 350 aviation and aerospace professionals worldwide across the general aviation and leasing sectors, spanning underwriting, claims handling, and client relationships across the UK, France, Spain, and Switzerland.
Ben Newman is Head of Commercial for Inflite the Jet Centre, having joined the company in January 2024 after a career as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Air Force, including an operational tour in Afghanistan. He was awarded the BBGA Excellence in Aviation Next Generation Award for 2024 and is based in the UK.
Other BBGA board members highlighted include Aoife O'Sullivan, BBGA Chair; Rachael Paskin, BBGA's Marketing Executive; Alison Chambers, head of Emerald Media, based at Fairoaks Airport; Paul Cremer, Head of Aviation Delivery at Gama Aviation, who has worked in business and general aviation for 42 years and has chaired BBGA's Operations Working Group since 2023; and Jason Hayward, General Manager for Universal Aviation UK.
