Moldova's Ministry of Defense temporarily closed airspace over the northern and central parts of the country on the morning of September 30 after a drone was detected flying over its territory.

The drone was detected at 10:26 local time over the territory of the unrecognized region of Transnistria, near the city of Dubossary. Authorities closed airspace over the northern and central parts of Moldova in response. The drone then continued toward the northern part of the country, after which airspace over central Moldova was reopened.

The drone was later reported to have crashed and exploded on the outskirts of a village.
