Embraer Convenes 2026 Supplier Advisory Council at Garmin HQ in Kansas to Advance AI and Automation

Embraer convened its 2026 Embraer Supplier Advisory Council (ESAC) at Garmin headquarters in Olathe, Kansas, bringing together strategic suppliers from Brazil, Austria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United States to advance artificial intelligence, automation and supply-chain efficiency across its global aerospace operations.

Council members presented collaborative projects developed during the year covering automation, inventory management, artificial intelligence, systems integration and the acceleration of manufacturing processes. Embraer said the council is intended to raise productivity, quality, resilience and competitiveness throughout its aerospace value chain.

Roberto Chaves, Embraer's Executive Vice President for Global Procurement and Supply Chain, said knowledge sharing and joint development through ESAC can produce tangible supply-chain benefits while strengthening the company's capacity to meet global demand. Carl Wolf, Garmin's Vice President of Aviation Sales, Marketing, Programs & Support, said hosting the 2026 council offered an opportunity to strengthen strategic relationships and develop solutions with wider industry relevance.

Embraer formally links its supplier recognition programme with ESAC. At its April 2026 Suppliers Conference, the company named its top suppliers across ten categories, with those award recipients becoming council members. Embraer's supply network spans more than 60 countries. The 2026 ESAC participants named by Embraer were ASE of Italy; Diehl Aviation and SAP of Germany; FACC of Austria; Fokker Services of the Netherlands; Globo Usinagem of Brazil; and Hexcel, Moog and Pratt & Whitney of the United States.
