Jetcraft Commercial Promotes Marc Meloche to COO, Hires Rory McQueen as VP of Aircraft Finance

Jetcraft Commercial has promoted Marc Meloche to chief operating officer and hired Rory McQueen as vice president of Aircraft Finance. The moves strengthen the leadership team of the commercial aviation arm of the Jetcraft group.

Meloche joined Jetcraft Commercial in 2018 as managing director of Aviation Finance and brings more than 30 years of industry experience. In his new role he will oversee daily operations and execution of the company's business strategy. Raphael Haddad, President of Jetcraft Commercial, credited Meloche with playing a crucial role in developing the company's commercial aircraft financing capabilities, including establishing its Absa Group credit facility.

McQueen joins from previous senior roles at Chorus Aviation, VistaJet and Bombardier, bringing a background in aviation finance and an established network of industry relationships. He will focus on developing and strengthening Jetcraft Commercial's finance capabilities for clients.

Leadership appointments in aircraft finance signal how brokerage and trading groups are building dedicated financing arms rather than treating credit access as a side function of aircraft sales. Establishing a named credit facility, as Meloche did with Absa Group, shows how these companies secure the capital lines that let them offer financing alongside brokerage.

In this segment, a finance executive's prior network at operators, lessors and manufacturers becomes part of the value the hire brings, since aircraft finance depends on relationships with banks and credit providers as much as internal process. McQueen's background at Chorus Aviation, VistaJet and Bombardier fits that pattern of drawing finance leadership from across the industry.
