ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a wholly owned Dassault Aviation subsidiary, has completed the first C-check on a Falcon 8X performed in Asia. The inspection took place at the company's heavy maintenance centre at Subang Airport, a facility certified to perform major inspections on every Falcon model currently in production.

A Falcon C-inspection is a major scheduled maintenance event involving an in-depth examination of the aircraft's structures, systems and components, typically performed when a jet reaches approximately eight years of service. The Subang facility is already scheduled to carry out additional Falcon 8X C-inspections this year, with aircraft arriving from multiple Asian markets. According to data from Asian Sky, the Falcon 8X is among the most popular ultra-long-range business jets in Asia Pacific, with nearly 20 aircraft currently operating across the region, and Falcon aircraft now account for 60-65% of the total maintenance workload at the Subang facility.
Ivan Lim, Regional Vice President Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services, said completing the first C-inspection on a Falcon 8X demonstrates the growing confidence Falcon operators have in the facility and its technical capabilities, and that as the number of Falcon aircraft expands in Asia-Pacific, operators are increasingly looking for high-quality maintenance support within the region.

A heavy-maintenance base that can absorb a fleet's first major inspections locally removes a long-haul positioning leg from an owner's or operator's maintenance planning, which matters most for an ultra-long-range type like the Falcon 8X.
Heavy MRO capacity for a specific aircraft type tends to concentrate once a facility proves it can perform the work, because subsequent operators can point to a completed reference case instead of relying on projected capability. With nearly 20 Falcon 8X aircraft already flying in the region and additional C-inspections already scheduled at Subang this year, the near-term signal to watch is how quickly that scheduled volume converts into a sustained slot backlog, and whether other regional MRO sites move to add competing Falcon 8X capability.
