Brewers charter to World Series Game 3 flown by pitcher Quinn Priester's uncle and cousin
Why It MattersTeam charters for major sporting events remain a steady source of airline charter work, with the flight deck and cabin crewed by the same carrier's regular staff.
The Milwaukee Brewers flew to Florida on Sunday for World Series Game 3 on a United Airlines Boeing 737 charter whose captain was GJ Priester, an uncle of Brewers pitcher Quinn Priester. Alex Priester, a cousin of the right-hander, served as first officer.

After the plane encountered some turbulence on arrival, Brewers manager Pat Murphy joked, "I didn't know Quinn threw a knuckleball," saying the flight had been smooth until it came in and became "a little knuckleballish." Reliever Aaron Ashby said the landing was a little rough.
Murphy said the Brewers used five charter flights to bring families.
