Several flights were delayed at the airport as passengers made their way through the terminal. One traveler, Ingrid Lleva, said she initially received a notification of a 20-minute delay before growing concerned the wait would extend further, while another traveler, Belinda Kijesky, said the delay was manageable compared to disruptions she had experienced the previous day.

Duke Energy attributed most of the outages to trees and limbs falling on power lines, and travelers flying out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport were advised to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight information before leaving home.
