Blade Offers FlightMax Pass Discounts on BladeOne Seats Between New York and South Florida
Why It MattersPrepaid seat packs on a by-the-seat private service show shared-seat operators moving toward subscription-style pricing to lock in repeat demand on the busy New York to South Florida corridor.
Blade has introduced FlightMax discount pass packs for its BladeOne by-the-seat flights between New York and Miami or Palm Beach, after relaunching the service in October. A FlightMax Pass covers 10 or 20 flights: the 10-seat pass costs $16,500 plus $495 per seat, and the 20-seat pass costs $30,000 plus $495 per seat.

The flights use private terminals and are operated by Aero with regional Embraer jets configured for 16 passengers in a 1×1 layout, giving every passenger both a window and an aisle seat. Holders of the 20-seat pass receive a $150-per-seat discount on helicopter transfers.
