IADA and ASA Form Educational Partnership on Aircraft Appraisal
Why It MattersAppraisal training for aircraft will draw on dealer and broker market data, which could make valuations across general aviation more consistent and better grounded in transaction activity.
The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) and the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) have established an educational partnership to expand professional development opportunities across general aviation.

Under the agreement, IADA's Quarterly Market Reports will become part of ASA's Machinery & Equipment Valuation Methodology (Aviation Specific) curriculum, according to organization officials. The inclusion gives candidates pursuing ASA's Accredited Senior Appraiser designation direct access to market intelligence from IADA's network of accredited dealers and certified brokers.
