Joramco to Begin Five-Year Condor Base Maintenance Contract With First A330neo
Why It MattersThe deal shows maintenance providers in the Middle East competing for European airline base-check work, and it adds A330neo widebody capability to Joramco's Amman operation.
Joramco is preparing to begin base maintenance work on Condor aircraft under a five-year agreement with the German airline, with the first Airbus A330neo scheduled to arrive at its Amman facility. The agreement, signed earlier in 2026, covers base maintenance checks for Condor's Airbus A320ceo, A320neo and A330neo fleets. The first aircraft is expected during the week following the announcement on 28 October, marking Condor's first maintenance visit to Joramco.

Jeff Wilkinson, chief executive of DAE Engineering, said the arrival of the first aircraft marked the start of an important partnership, and described the A330neo's addition to Joramco's maintenance operations as a milestone in developing capabilities to support changing fleet requirements. Bernd Bechtel, Condor's director of maintenance economics and strategy, said an experienced maintenance partner was important to supporting the airline's fleet and technical operations, and described the cooperation as the beginning of a closer relationship over the five-year period. Joramco is the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE).
