AeroCore Technologies Opens Middle East Headquarters in Riyadh to Serve GCC Aviation Market

Why It MattersThe move signals growing demand for on-wing engine maintenance services tailored to the harsh desert operating conditions across the fast-expanding Gulf aviation market.

AeroCore Technologies, developer of Nucleated Foam Technology™ for aircraft engine cleaning, opened its Middle East regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 1, 2026. The facility will house regional leadership, engineering, technician training and equipment support, positioning the company to serve airlines across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council, an opening the company says aligns with Saudi Vision 2030.

AeroCore's patented one-hour foam wash process cleans the full engine gas path planeside without disassembly or towing, allowing multiple engines to be washed simultaneously with all effluent captured for environmentally responsible disposal. The technology has been field-proven across thousands of washes on U.S. military aircraft. The company's commercial programs have reported exhaust gas temperature margin recovery of approximately 4–10°C, fuel burn reductions of 0.5–1.5%, and time-on-wing extensions of up to 1,500 cycles, with validated aircraft types including the Airbus A320 and A321 families, A330 and A350, and Boeing 737 NG and MAX, 777 and 787.

Heat, humidity, dust and sand in the Middle East accelerate gas path fouling, which erodes EGT margin, increases fuel burn and shortens time on wing. Captain Fahd Cynndy, Board Member of AeroCore Technologies, said Saudi Arabia and the GCC are building one of the world's most ambitious aviation markets and that the Riyadh headquarters brings cleaning capability closer to operators on their ramps and around their schedules. AeroCore Technologies holds more than 20 international patents and operates at 21 airports and military bases across the United States and internationally, with an expanding presence in Brazil, Japan and the Middle East.
