Continental Aerospace Technologies Names Keith Chatten as CEO

Continental Aerospace Technologies announced on October 1, 2026, that it has appointed Keith Chatten as Chief Executive Officer. Chatten brings more than 30 years of general aviation experience and previously spent nearly 15 years at Continental in various engineering and leadership roles.

In a statement, Chatten said he looks forward to building on Continental's legacy of engineering excellence and continuing to deliver high-quality products and customer support. The company said his engineering, commercial and operational leadership background, combined with his familiarity with Continental's products, positions him to strengthen manufacturing operations, expand aftermarket support, and lead development of the company's next generation of engines.
Founded in 1905 and headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Continental Aerospace Technologies manufactures piston engines for general aviation aircraft, producing both AvGas and Jet-A variants. The company is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, which manages more than $30 billion in assets.
