Air Corsica Selects StandardAero for LEAP-1A Engine MRO Services on A320neo Fleet
Why It MattersThe award shows independent MRO providers winning LEAP-1A narrowbody engine work from regional carriers, extending relationships that began on turboprop support into the newer-generation engine aftermarket.
StandardAero, an independent provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services, has been selected by Air Corsica to provide CFM International LEAP-1A engine Performance Restoration Shop Visit (PRSV) services for the airline's Airbus A320neo fleet. StandardAero is a CFM LEAP Premier MRO provider offering OEM-authorized services.

The agreement gives Air Corsica access to LEAP-1A services at StandardAero's San Antonio, Texas facility, including PRSVs, quick-turn shop visits (QTSVs), component repairs, short-term engine leases and engine health monitoring (EHM) data analysis.
StandardAero has supported Air Corsica's legacy ATR regional turboprops and its ATR 72-600 fleet, which uses Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M-XT engines, since 2023. Air Corsica Technical Director Jean Luc Moine said extending the collaboration to LEAP-1A support is a logical progression as the airline modernizes with the A320neo. Guillaume Limouzy, StandardAero's Regional Sales Director for EMEA, said the company is delighted to extend the relationship.
StandardAero has provided LEAP QTSV services since March 2024 and completed correlation of its first LEAP test cell in November 2024, enabling PRSV inductions. Its Component Repair Services team has industrialized more than 475 component repairs for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B.
