Figurr Architects Collective and Aureum Mobility Partner to Develop Vertiport Infrastructure Across Canada

Canadian architecture firm Figurr Architects Collective has entered a partnership with Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure company Aureum Mobility to plan, design, and implement droneport and vertiport infrastructure across Canada, with Figurr acting as Aureum's architecture and Canadian technology distribution partner.
The partnership pairs Aureum Mobility's modular vertiport and droneport systems — including aircraft-agnostic charging technology and integrated operational solutions — with Figurr's aviation architecture experience gained through work for airlines, simulator manufacturers, airports, defence organisations, and corporate flight training providers. The two firms aim to support communities, airports, real estate developers, and public-sector organisations preparing for commercial AAM operations, with scope ranging from rural drone operations to complex urban passenger networks.
Anthony Colletti, AAM Specialist at Aureum Mobility, said Advanced Air Mobility will prove its value where transportation options are needed most, citing Canada's vast distances, remote and underserved communities, and willingness to lead as a defining test for the industry. The Canadian Advanced Air Mobility association (CAAM) expressed support for the initiative, noting that the partnership's modular infrastructure, agnostic charging technology, and integrated operational solutions could help address infrastructure challenges ahead of commercial operations in Canada.
