Stellar Aviation Begins Accepting Cryptocurrency Payments Across FBO Network, First Transaction Completed in Reno
Why It MattersFBO payment rails are widening beyond cards and wires, which could change how operators and charter customers settle ground-handling costs across a fragmented FBO landscape.
Stellar Aviation has begun accepting cryptocurrency payments across its FBO network for fuel, services, hangar rentals and ancillary charges, which the company said is an industry first. The network accepts most major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Solana, USDC and GiveBack ($GBACK) tokens.

It settled a fuel and services transaction using GiveBack coins on the Solana blockchain at Stellar Aviation's Reno-Tahoe location on October 19.
