Wheels Up Selects Honeywell Aerospace Fleet Maintenance Service Plan for Bombardier Challenger Fleet
Why It MattersFixed-price, data-driven maintenance programs are becoming a standard tool for fractional and charter operators scaling mid-size fleets, tying cost predictability and reliability to the OEM-supplier ecosystem.
Wheels Up has selected Honeywell Aerospace's Fleet Maintenance Service Plan (FMSP) for its fleet of Bombardier CL300/350 Series Challenger aircraft. The plan includes Ensemble, a digital maintenance solution that provides near-real-time engine monitoring and analysis.

FMSP is built on Honeywell Aerospace's Maintenance Service Plan (MSP), which delivers fixed-price coverage for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across avionics, control systems, engines and auxiliary power units. It retains the core MSP benefits while scaling for larger fleets, with support aimed at fractional, charter and other multi-aircraft owners and operators. Plans are backed by Honeywell Aerospace's global network of experts and authorized service centers, with access to genuine parts, and the FMSP also provides 24/7 support.
Ensemble automatically downloads and transmits engine information to analyze and track engine condition after every flight. It can detect, analyze and proactively address potential engine issues before they disrupt flights, and it links operational data, engine build records, engine maintenance records and a digital engine logbook.
Wheels Up says the continuing growth of its Signature membership reflects demand for its modernized fleet, in which Bombardier Challenger aircraft are one of two key aircraft types, and it expects to continue scaling its Challenger fleet to meet expected demand growth. Chief operating officer Dave Holtz said the company achieved its highest completion rate and on-time performance in its history in Q2, and that he expects the partnership to further improve operational reliability.
