Guardian Jet launches Guardian Intelligence with rebuilt Dynamic Market Survey and AI-driven Market Insights

Why It MattersBrokerage advisory firms are folding proprietary market data and AI pattern-spotting into client portals, shifting competition from access to listings toward interpretation of fleet-wide pricing and transaction signals.

What happened

Guardian Jet introduced Guardian Intelligence on Oct. 19, ahead of NBAA-BACE 2026. The platform ties the firm's data, custom technology and advisory work together, and clients access it through the firm's portal, The Vault, at no additional cost.

The newest advancement is a rebuilt Dynamic Market Survey. Guardian Jet says clients can search the aircraft it tracks across the industry on demand, filter by model year, airframe total time, asking price, equipment and location, and pull up aircraft for sale, recent sales, valuations, market movement and individual aircraft details. The dynamic page also provides alerts for sold aircraft, new listings and price changes.

An AI feature called Market Insights summarizes patterns in the proprietary data and flags them for review with an advisor, who supplies the context and judgment.

Origins of the data approach

Founder and managing partner Mike Dwyer, a former Gulfstream regional sales manager in New York, traces the firm's data approach to a meeting about 25 years ago with a hedge fund prospect who knew more about the market than he did.

He then built an Excel spreadsheet to track what percentage of the fleet is for sale, calculate fair market value the way an appraiser would, and track sales to see whether the market is trading at a premium or discount. About 15 years ago, Guardian turned multiple spreadsheets into a true database.

Industry impact & what to watch

Aircraft brokerage has long run on information asymmetry: the party with the better read on fleet availability, asking-price movement and recent sales sets the pace of a negotiation. Guardian's rebuilt survey, with alerts for sold aircraft, new listings and price changes, puts that kind of continuous tracking in the client's hands rather than leaving it inside the broker's own spreadsheets.

The Market Insights design is worth noting for how it divides the work. The AI summarizes patterns and flags them, while an advisor supplies context and judgment. That keeps the human relationship at the center of the service and positions the data layer as a support for advice, not a replacement for it.

For buyers and sellers comparing advisors, the practical test is whether a firm's tools tie valuation, market movement and individual aircraft detail together in one place. Guardian offering this inside The Vault at no additional cost raises the baseline other advisory firms will be measured against, and the next signal will be how clients use the alerts and insights in live transactions.
