Cirrus Aviation Services and Stella Jets Expand Partnership to Cover Management of Two Challenger 850 Aircraft and Members-Only Travel

Why It MattersThe tie-up shows aircraft managers and membership clubs increasingly bundling fleet operations with seat-based social travel products to widen their reach without adding owned aircraft.

What happened

Cirrus Aviation Services and Dallas-based Stella Jets have expanded their strategic partnership to cover aircraft management and members-only private travel. Under the agreement, Cirrus Aviation now manages two Challenger 850 aircraft for Stella Jets, adding its management and operational capabilities to Stella Jets' offering.

In a separate part of the deal, Theos, a members-only club operated by Cirrus Aviation Services, will work with Stella ShAire, Stella Jets' private social club, to develop by-the-seat private jet routes and curated travel experiences. Eligible members of both clubs will be able to reserve individual seats aboard private aircraft. Eric Grilly of Cirrus Aviation said the company's expansion to Dallas Love Field in September 2025 was about establishing Cirrus as a long-term aviation partner in Texas, calling the new relationship an example of that strategy in action. Tia Minzoni, founder and CEO of Stella Jets, said Cirrus brings the operational expertise, infrastructure and service standards that align with how the company wants its aircraft and clients supported.

Cirrus Aviation Services was founded in 2009, is headquartered in Las Vegas, and also operates in Van Nuys, California, and Dallas, Texas. The company holds an ARGUS Platinum Elite Rating. Stella Jets is a women-owned private aviation and luxury travel company based in Dallas. Initial by-the-seat routes, dates, eligibility requirements and booking details are to be announced as plans are finalized.

Industry impact & what to watch

This deal pairs two separate mechanisms that are becoming common in private aviation: third-party aircraft management for an operator's growing fleet, and club-to-club collaboration to offer seat-based travel rather than whole-aircraft charter. Aircraft management lets a company like Stella Jets add capacity and operational oversight without building its own maintenance and crewing infrastructure, while the club tie-up between Theos and Stella ShAire lets each membership base access routes and experiences neither could easily support alone.

For the by-the-seat segment specifically, this shows how such programs are increasingly built by linking existing membership clubs rather than launching a new seat-sales brand from scratch, letting each partner bring its own member base to the table. The value of the arrangement will depend on how the two clubs coordinate eligibility, pricing and route selection once the seat program actually launches.

What happens next is the announcement of initial routes, dates, eligibility requirements and booking details, none of which have been finalized. Those specifics, once disclosed, will show whether the by-the-seat product is a limited pilot or a broader standing offering across both clubs' membership.
