Yingling Aviation, a business and general aviation MRO, parts and FBO provider, has named Jerome Cottner as its director of sales. Cottner brings more than two decades of aviation experience, beginning his career in the US Marine Corps, where he led flight line avionics teams supporting CH-53D helicopters across two combat deployments.
After his military service, Cottner held executive leadership positions in the MRO sector, serving as president of Global Aviation Technologies in Wichita and president of Omni Aircraft Maintenance. In his new role at Yingling Aviation, he will focus on expanding customer partnerships and aligning maintenance, avionics and aircraft support solutions with the operational needs of aircraft owners and flight departments.
"That rare combination of military discipline, hands-on avionics expertise, and executive MRO experience gives Jerome a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver on customer commitments," said Kerry Heiss, vice president of sales and marketing at Yingling Aviation. Heiss joined the company in July, following CEO Gregg Fahrenbruch's appointment in March.
