Paramount Business Jets earns Argus and Wyvern broker certifications

Paramount Business Jets, a Virginia-based charter broker, has obtained two industry certifications: the Argus Certified Charter Broker designation and the Wyvern Wingman Broker designation. Both certificates are issued by third-party auditors following reviews of aviation companies' business practices, safety standards, and service quality.

Richard Zaher, CEO of Paramount Business Jets, said earning the Argus Certified Charter Broker designation is an important milestone because it independently validates the standards the company has worked to uphold for years. He said safety is the foundation of every trip the company arranges, exceptional service defines the client experience, and transparency is a principle the company pioneered in its jet card membership.

Amanda McCreary, Senior Vice President at Paramount Business Jets, added that the company is proud to hold both distinctions.

Third-party certification of brokers, rather than only operators, reflects a broader push in charter to give buyers an independent check on firms that arrange but do not fly the trips themselves. Argus and Wyvern have long audited operator safety records; extending similar review to brokers addresses the part of a charter transaction — trip planning, vendor selection, contract terms — that safety ratings on the aircraft side don't cover.

For charter buyers, a broker-level audit is a way to verify claims about vetting and service practices without having to take a company's own description of its standards on faith. Whether this designation becomes a baseline expectation among brokers, or stays a differentiator for a subset of firms, will depend on how many competitors pursue the same certifications next.
