NBAA to Honor Whirlpool's 75 Accident-Free Years at NBAA-BACE as Jeppesen ForeFlight Unveils Airflow AI Platform

NBAA will present its 2026 Flying Safety Awards for the period ending Dec. 31, 2025, on the NBAA-BACE Horizon Stage from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, right after the opening session, "The Launch." Stephanie Goetz of The Pink Jet will host. Whirlpool Corp. receives the 75-Year award, Cargill and Eli Lilly & Company receive 60-Year awards, and The Anschutz Corporation receives the 50-Year award. NBAA says more than 100 companies and flight departments are being recognized for accident-free flying.
The Launch will also include interview-style panels with 2026 Meritorious Service Award winner Steven Udvar-Hazy and former honoree Ross Perot Jr. On Monday's media day, Gulfstream pilots who just completed a multiple-jet air-to-air photo mission will speak at the company's static display, where the G400 test aircraft will be shown alongside mockups of the G400 and the G300 unveiled in September 2025. On Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Sustainability Summit "Fueling the Future 2.0: Sustainability Strategies for Business Aviation" will feature speakers from 4Air.
This week Jeppesen ForeFlight announced Airflow, an agentic AI operating platform for business aviation. The first two agents to deploy within ForeFlight Dispatch are Trip Feasibility, which checks a trip against sanctions, permits, NOTAMs, weather and airport restrictions, and Ops Briefing, which consolidates NOTAMs and current and forecast weather. Jeppesen will also host the panel "Trust, But Verify: AI in Business Aviation" on Oct. 21 at 1:15 p.m.
