myairops Launches Connected Passenger Portal Integrated with Its Flight Scheduling Platform

Why It MattersFolding trip requests into the same system that runs scheduling and operations targets a long-standing handoff gap in business aviation and raises the bar for passenger-facing tools against airline apps.

myairops has launched a portal product that is fully integrated with the myairops flight platform. It is designed to give passengers, executive assistants, aircraft owners and other authorized requesters a clearer way to engage with their flight department and obtain information. The company announced the product in connection with NBAA-BACE.

myairops Launches Connected Passenger Portal Integrated with Its Flight Scheduling Platform

The portal targets a disconnect in business aviation operations. Scheduling platforms help flight departments manage aircraft, crew, compliance and trip delivery, but the initial trip request often arrives through separate forms, messages, emails or standalone systems, and operations teams must then transfer the information by hand before they can begin managing the trip. By bringing trip demand into the environment the flight department already uses, the portal aims to reduce those disconnected handoffs. Tim Ford, President of myairops, said the operational process begins before a trip reaches the schedule, and that the portal connects those requesting travel with the flight department managing it. He also said business leaders have told him that commercial airline apps often outstrip the tools available to business aviation users.

The capability is being introduced in phases. Initial customers are already using the portal for specific operating requirements, and further capabilities are being released incrementally based on customer feedback. This is the first Generally Available (GA) release. Visitors to NBAA-BACE can see the booking portal and myairops flight at booth 3425.
