AB Jets doubles hangar capacity at Memphis International with new headquarters

What happened
AB Jets has relocated to a new headquarters at Memphis International Airport, doubling its hangar capacity in the process. The new facility includes a 32,000-square-foot (2,973-square-metre) hangar, twice the size of the 16,000-square-foot (1,486-square-metre) hangar the company previously occupied.
The new headquarters also provides 52,000 square feet (4,831 square metres) of office and support space, up from 22,000 square feet (2,044 square metres) at the former location.

Hangar and office footprint are a direct proxy for how much aircraft an operator can service, store or base at a given airport, so a doubling of both at once points to a company positioning for more volume than its old site could handle. In maintenance and charter operations, physical capacity is often the binding constraint before headcount or contracts are, since a hangar cannot be expanded overnight the way a schedule can.
What remains to be seen is how AB Jets fills the added space — additional aircraft based at Memphis, expanded third-party maintenance work, or simply room to grow into over time. Any announcement of new customers, added aircraft on site, or expanded service lines at the Memphis facility would be the next signal of how the investment is being put to use.
