Dream Chaser Aerospace Technology has closed a Series A extension worth hundreds of millions of yuan, marking the largest single fundraising round in the company's history and a record for China's hybrid eVTOL sector. The round was led by Hangzhou Industrial Group and its subsidiary Hangzhou Low-altitude Economy Co., Ltd.
Total funding raised to date stands at nearly 800 million yuan, equivalent to approximately $110 million. Long-term backer Aviation Investment Fund participated for a fourth consecutive round, while Xiaochi Capital made an over-subscribed follow-on investment for a third time.
