AGOS Aviation, a company that began as a Loadmaster organisation nearly 40 years ago, is offering a Global Centralised Load Control (GCLC) service that manages load planning, loadsheet production and weight-and-balance verification from a single hub on behalf of airline partners. Traditional load control is typically handled at individual stations by ground handlers with inconsistent training and oversight, whereas under the AGOS model a dedicated team of certified load controllers manages planning and documentation centrally to a uniform standard across an airline's entire network, while local stations continue to handle physical loading on the ramp.

AGOS states that every load plan is built around the specific structural limits, compartment and floor loading constraints, and Centre of Gravity envelopes of each aircraft type, with weight distribution optimised for compliance, fuel efficiency through trim, and safe execution by ground teams. The AGOS Centralised Operations Hub operates around the clock across time zones and incorporates recovery protocols for disruptions such as weather, technical delays and last-minute cargo changes, with training standardised so that no single station or individual becomes a point of failure.
AGOS describes its GCLC as a scalable, shared-service model in which load control resources are pooled across partner airlines to achieve economies of scale, with costs adjusting as volumes rise or fall with seasonal peaks, new routes or fleet changes. All services are fully insured, and the company says it tailors each solution to the specific fleet structure and operational requirements of the client, whether a cargo operator, an ACMI provider or a passenger carrier.
