AAR Appoints Sanjay Sood as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer

AAR Corp. has appointed Sanjay Sood as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Sood will oversee AAR's technology organization, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and the company's efforts to apply artificial intelligence and other technologies across its operations.
Sood joins AAR from CDW, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer and modernized the company's platforms, data architecture and AI initiatives while managing technical integration of multiple acquisitions. He previously held senior technology and product leadership roles at HERE Technologies, overseeing global engineering organizations and building emerging products, and earlier held leadership roles at YP, AllVoices and BuzzLabs.
AAR's leadership said Sood brings a combination of experience in large-scale information technology leadership, infrastructure modernization and AI implementation, and that his leadership will be critical to executing the company's long-term strategy and strengthening its systems and data management. AAR is a global aerospace and defense aftermarket solutions company headquartered in the Chicago area, with operations in over 20 countries across three segments: Parts Supply; Repair, Engineering, and Software; and Government Solutions.
