Bombardier to Show Global 8000, Global 6500 and Challenger 3500 at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas

Why It MattersLeading with its fastest jet and its service network at the sector's main annual show reflects how OEMs compete on support and ownership experience as much as on aircraft performance.

What happened

Bombardier has announced it will take part in the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, held October 20–22 in Las Vegas. Its static display will feature the flagship Global 8000 alongside the Global 6500 and Challenger 3500, and visitors will be able to meet the company's customer support team, which Bombardier describes as award-winning.

Éric Martel, President and Chief Executive Officer, said the show is an important moment to showcase the company's leadership in business aviation, from customer service to what he called the fastest business jet in the world. He said Bombardier has focused on investing in its people, advancing innovation and expanding its global network.

Bombardier will also host L'Expérience by Bombardier, a curated journey inside its hospitality chalet showing the design, innovation and craftsmanship behind its aircraft, including the Global 8000. On October 20 at 3:00 p.m., at the static display, it will hold a Pilot Talk titled Beyond the Flight Deck with John Travolta, who is type rated on more than a dozen aircraft, including a recent certification on a Bombardier Global Express, and who will share experiences from 50 years of flying.

On Wednesday, October 21, Bombardier is a Platinum sponsor of the Corporate Angel Network's Fund an Angel event at Fontainebleau Las Vegas' Waterbleau Terrace. The organization arranges free flights on corporate and commercial aircraft for cancer patients seeking specialized treatment. Bombardier says its customers operate a fleet of more than 5,200 aircraft, supported by 10 service centres across six countries.

Industry impact & what to watch

The show plan pairs hardware with service. Two of the three aircraft on the static display are Global-family jets, and the chief executive's own framing runs from customer service to speed. That ordering reflects how large-cabin OEMs sell: the airframe opens the conversation, while the installed fleet and the service network are what keep an owner in the brand's orbit across a decade or more of operation.

The hospitality chalet, the pilot talk and the charity sponsorship all sit on the relationship side of the business. At a convention where buyers, brokers and operators are in the same place for three days, an OEM uses that time as much for owner and prospect contact as for the aircraft themselves.

The concrete markers are the dated ones: the Pilot Talk at 3:00 p.m. on October 20 and the Fund an Angel event on October 21. Anything further on the Global 8000 or the other two types would come through Bombardier's own statements at the show.
