Jandakot Airport (YPJT) in Perth, at an elevation of 99 feet, operates under the 'Jandakot Airport Conditions of Access and Use' document available from the Airport Management Centre or the aerodrome operator's website. Visitors needing airside or landside access must contact the aerodrome operator, and all aircraft are subject to fees on the Schedule of Charges, with the Certificate of Registration holder responsible for charges incurred. Aircraft with a wingspan greater than 15 metres requiring parking need prior permission from the aerodrome operator, and call-out fees apply on Christmas Day and after hours; contact is +61 8 9414 1515.
The aerodrome operator does not provide marshalling services, so such requests go to a Fixed Base Operator. Fixed-wing aircraft conducting circuit training during tower hours require start approval from Jandakot Ground on 124.3 MHz, and aircraft not taxied within 15 minutes of receiving approval may lose priority. Aircraft requiring clearance into Perth CTA/CTR must contact Perth Centre on 135.25 MHz before starting engines, and agricultural aircraft calibration tests and training are not permitted.
Flight procedures effective 03 September 2026 under AVFAX code 6002 set circuit altitude at 1,000 ft for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, and 800 ft for rotary-wing aircraft remaining north of runway 06L/24R. Departure altitude is 1,000 ft, with aircraft heading west and northwest tracking via Fiona Stanley Hospital to FREM before climbing to 1,500 ft, aircraft heading south tracking via YGB then TOML, and aircraft heading east tracking to reporting point SHOP while remaining clear of Perth CTR. Arriving VFR aircraft must establish two-way communication with Jandakot Tower at reporting points BOAT, POWR, OAKF or RUSS, and aircraft not on a SID or STAR must not exceed 250 kt IAS below 10,000 ft AMSL in Class C airspace at Jandakot. IFR arrivals face estimated airborne delays of 10 minutes Monday to Friday between 0100 and 0500 UTC.
Helicopter procedures follow fixed-wing rules unless otherwise specified. Departing helicopters must advise Jandakot Ground on 124.3 MHz and nominate their intended landing site on initial ATC contact. The helicopter training area is bounded by the 06R/24L runway strip, taxiway S and the airport perimeter road, with helicopters required to stay 50 m or more from the anemometer and windsock and at or below 200 ft AGL unless conducting a circuit.
