NetJets Plans 100,000-Sq-Ft Campus at Dallas Love Field with Hangars, Terminal and Offices
Why It MattersThe project signals continued fractional-ownership operator investment in dedicated maintenance and passenger infrastructure at major U.S. business aviation airports.
NetJets, the private aviation company owned by Berkshire Hathaway, plans to build a campus exceeding 100,000 square feet at Dallas Love Field, located at 7515 Lemmon Avenue, according to filings with the City of Dallas and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction costs are estimated at between $35 million and $70 million.

The project is divided into three phases. The first involves demolishing six existing hangars and a terminal building, with demolition costs estimated at $50 million. The second phase calls for a 14,000-square-foot private passenger terminal along with renovations to parking, landscaping and utility infrastructure. The third and largest phase covers an 80,000-square-foot aircraft maintenance hangar plus an additional 20,489 square feet of warehouse, shops and office space.
Construction on the hangar, offices and terminal is scheduled to begin in November and is not expected to be completed until May 2028, according to TDLR filings. NetJets was founded in 1964 as Executive Jet Airways and was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 1998, and it now operates a fleet of more than 800 aircraft, averaging over 1,400 flights per day.
