NetJets and Signature Aviation Open Exclusive-Use Facility at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas

Why It MattersFractional operators are moving from leasing space inside shared FBOs toward purpose-built private campuses, tying ground infrastructure to the demand concentration of specific high-traffic destinations.

What happened

NetJets has opened a newly constructed facility at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, developed in partnership with Signature Aviation. The company describes it as the first new-build project the two have developed jointly, and as designed from the ground up for NetJets customers, known as NetJets Owners.

The campus totals more than 300,000 square feet of dedicated infrastructure. It combines a 17,069-square-foot exclusive-use private Owner terminal, two hangars (one of them an Executive Jet Management (EJM) facility), a NetJets Service Hub, and expansive preferred-use ramp space. The terminal has a private lounge, VIP conference rooms and a dedicated room for families. A direct Air Operations Area (AOA) access gate lets Owners move between vehicle and aircraft without encountering commercial traffic or shared terminal areas, and NetJets Service Representatives are on site.

The Service Hub is where aircraft are detailed and stocked for mission readiness, and it allows NetJets to carry out proactive maintenance on-site. NetJets says this improves operational efficiency and reduces aircraft downtime for the high volume of its aircraft operating across the western U.S.

NetJets says Las Vegas is among the top destinations sought by its Owners. Flight activity there has grown nearly 45% since 2022, totaling almost 8,000 flights through the end of 2025, and demand since the start of 2026 has been nearly 30% higher than in the same period of 2025.

Patrick Gallagher, President of NetJets Aviation, said the company invests where Owners want to be, citing Las Vegas as a destination for sporting events, entertainment and luxury hospitality. Tony Lefebvre, CEO of Signature Aviation, said the facility reflects a shared commitment to hospitality, privacy and efficiency.

A wider build-out across the network

The Las Vegas campus is one element of a broader series of infrastructure enhancements across the NetJets network. New and expanded facilities in Dallas, Texas; Palm Beach, Florida; and Washington, D.C. are part of the same programme, and all were developed in partnership with Signature Aviation.

Industry impact & what to watch

Fractional programmes compete on the reliability and feel of the whole trip, and the ground segment is where an operator can control that most directly. A dedicated terminal with its own AOA gate removes the shared-terminal friction that a general FBO cannot fully eliminate. Putting a maintenance and aircraft-preparation hub on the same site means routine work and turnaround readiness happen next to where the aircraft actually parks, instead of being scheduled around a visit to a distant base.

The siting logic follows demand. Las Vegas was chosen because flight activity there has grown nearly 45% since 2022 and early-2026 demand is running nearly 30% above the same period of 2025. Facilities of this scale only pay back where utilisation is already high, so the list of locations that receive them, here Las Vegas, Dallas, Palm Beach and Washington, D.C., is itself a readout of where the operator sees its customers concentrating.

For the rest of the segment, the partnership model is the notable part: an operator brings the demand and the service standard, and an FBO network brings real estate and airport relationships. The next signal is which further destinations receive the same new-build treatment, and whether other operators answer with exclusive-use campuses of their own.
