Infinity Aviation Adds Onsite De-Icing at Nashua (KASH) and Trenton Mercer (TTN) FBOs

Why It MattersFBO groups are adding de-icing as a standard ramp service, turning winter departure readiness into part of the handling offer that operators weigh when choosing where to stop.

What happened

Infinity Aviation announced at the NBAA conference that it has added onsite de-icing capabilities at its FBOs in Nashua, New Hampshire (KASH) and at Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN). The conference runs Oct. 20-22 in Las Vegas, where Infinity Aviation is exhibiting at booth 1962.

The de-icing services at the KASH and TTN FBOs use dedicated trucks and can handle large-cabin aircraft up to a Gulfstream G650 and Global Express 7500. At its Nashua FBO, Infinity Aviation offers Type I and Type IV fluid, with Type IV applied after Type I to prevent ice from forming. The company says its team members have completed a comprehensive aircraft de-icing training program for Part 91 and Part 135 operators.

Steven Levesque, CEO and Founder of Infinity Aviation, said the new service helps operators prepare aircraft for departure more efficiently in the colder months, and that staff follow the same strict written policies and procedures.

Infinity Aviation Group acquires, enhances and develops general aviation infrastructure, including FBOs and aircraft hangars, across key markets. Its own website also lists a de-icing service at Nashua, a new general aviation terminal in Building 79 that moved in spring 2026, and a 30,000-square-foot hangar planned next to the Nashua terminal, opening in 2027.

Industry impact & what to watch

De-icing at an FBO is a ramp service that decides whether an aircraft leaves on time in winter, and handling providers in cold-weather regions increasingly treat it as part of the core offer instead of a third-party add-on. Dedicated trucks sized for large-cabin aircraft signal that the target customer includes heavy-jet operators, not only light aircraft.

The two-fluid approach described at Nashua, with Type IV applied after Type I, follows the usual sequence for holding protection against re-icing. For Part 91 and Part 135 operators, the practical question when choosing a stop is whether crews are trained and procedures are written down, which is the claim Infinity Aviation is making.

The next concrete milestone named is the 30,000-square-foot hangar beside the Nashua terminal, planned to open in 2027, which would extend the Nashua site beyond fuel and de-icing into covered storage.
