StandardAero Augusta Joins Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Center Network for Tay and BR710 Line Maintenance

Why It MattersEngine line maintenance authorizations are moving to airframe-focused service centers, letting contract-covered Gulfstream owners combine airframe work and OEM-approved engine support at a single site.

What happened

StandardAero (NYSE: SARO) announced on October 19, 2026 that its Augusta, GA facility has joined the Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Center (ASC) network. The authorization adds line maintenance engine support for the Tay 611-8/8C and BR710 A1/C4 engine series.

Operators of Tay- or BR710-powered Gulfstream G300, G400, IV, IV SP, G350, G450, GV, G500 and G550 aircraft that hold a Rolls-Royce CorporateCare contract can now access on-site engine line maintenance at Augusta. The services include line maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, and engine removal and replacement.

Giovanni Spitale, President of StandardAero Business Aviation, said the addition is a natural extension of investment made in the facility over the past year. He said CorporateCare customers will receive the same quality of support offered at StandardAero's airframe service centers in Springfield and Van Nuys. Andy Robinson, SVP Services – Business Aviation at Rolls-Royce, said Augusta joins a network of more than 85 Authorized Service Centers worldwide.

StandardAero Augusta began performing Gulfstream aircraft inspections, repairs and connectivity installations earlier this year, after opening a new hangar built specifically to support Gulfstream aircraft in August 2025. Chris Bodine, Vice President & General Manager of StandardAero Augusta, said the authorization allows OEM-approved on-site support for CorporateCare customers with reduced engine services turn time.

StandardAero is also a Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Center (AMC) for Spey and Tay engine MRO in Dallas, TX, and for the AE3007 engine in Maryville, TN. It is OEM-authorized to provide line maintenance and AOG mobile service support for the Spey, Tay, BR710 and AE3007 engine lines. The Augusta facility supports airframe services for select Bombardier Challenger, Dassault Falcon, Embraer Legacy, Hawker and Gulfstream aircraft, provides heavy MRO for Honeywell HTF7000, TFE731 and 36 series APU, and offers line maintenance for select AE3007, CF34, CFE738 and PW300 engine models.

Industry impact & what to watch

Business-aviation maintenance has long split between airframe shops and engine specialists, and an aircraft needing both often means two stops and two sets of scheduling. Authorizing a Gulfstream-focused airframe facility for engine line maintenance on a contract-covered fleet narrows that split at the point where downtime is most expensive: unscheduled troubleshooting and engine swaps.

For Rolls-Royce, growing the ASC network by adding sites that already hold the airframe customer relationship is a way to extend CorporateCare coverage without building its own footprint. For service centers, an OEM authorization tied to a managed-maintenance program tends to steer recurring work toward the authorized site, which is why such designations are pursued alongside facility investment like the Augusta hangar.

The next point of evidence will be how the added capability shows up in Augusta's day-to-day Gulfstream workload and in the turn times Bodine cited, since those are the figures operators will compare against existing authorized sites.
