NBAA to Launch Member-Exclusive Business Aviation Intelligence Platform in Early 2027 with Rolland Vincent Associates
Why It MattersTrade associations are packaging proprietary survey data and forecasting as member-only products, so access to market intelligence becomes a benefit of membership rather than something purchased separately from independent research firms.
What happened
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) said on Monday that it plans to launch a new business aviation intelligence service exclusive to its members in early 2027. NBAA said the quarterly insights for aircraft owners, operators and the businesses that serve them will be "exclusive, unique, and actionable," helping users make decisions with greater context.

The content will cover peer sentiment, market conditions, policy developments, transaction dynamics and industry pressures. The association described the platform as "intended to provide a recurring pulse on business aviation."
NBAA will develop the platform jointly with Rolland Vincent Associates (RVA) through a strategic partnership. RVA produces syndicated research and long-term forecasts based on proprietary surveys and in-depth interviews with business aircraft owners, operators and industry stakeholders. The strategic advisory firm will combine its proprietary member survey data and insights, including market intelligence, analytics, forecasting and expertise, with NBAA's perspective on the industry and policy environment, its member relationships and its convening power.
Rolland Vincent, RVA's founder, co-owner and president, said in a news release that the insights will be "uniquely curated to [NBAA] members' specific interests and perspectives." He said: "Our goal is to help leaders identify meaningful market and industry developments before others do and understand how those insights can be incorporated into strategy and decision-making to generate successful outcomes."
The partners plan to discuss the partnership further this week at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE) in Las Vegas, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday.
Industry impact & what to watch
Business aviation decisions on fleet, hiring and acquisitions often rest on sentiment and market data that is scattered across brokers, appraisers and research houses. An association-branded quarterly product that blends survey data with policy context points to a model in which the trade body, not only commercial analysts, becomes a primary source of market intelligence for its own members.
The pairing also reflects how such services generally gain value: survey-based research is only as useful as the breadth of its respondents, and a membership base of owners, operators and suppliers gives a built-in pool of participants and readers. The policy-environment element is what an association is positioned to add that a standalone research firm is not.
The next dated milestone is this week's BACE in Las Vegas, where the partners plan to discuss the arrangement further. That is where details of the quarterly format are most likely to be laid out ahead of the early 2027 launch.
