FlyJets Launches JetGPT™ AI Agent for Charter Flight-Finding and Flight-Sharing

Why It MattersCharter marketplaces are increasingly layering conversational AI onto booking and capacity-sharing tools, shifting competitive emphasis toward interface and data access rather than aircraft ownership.

What happened

New York-based charter aviation marketplace and flight-sharing exchange FlyJets announced on October 8, 2026 the official launch of its JetGPT™ automated flight-finding agent, following a Beta release in February 2026 and several months of client-driven testing and enhancements.

FlyJets Launches JetGPT™ AI Agent for Charter Flight-Finding and Flight-Sharing

JetGPT is a large language model (LLM)-driven interface that provides real-time access to availability, pricing, and operator datasets. Users can search for and compile lists of empty legs, charter spaces, and flight-sharing opportunities, as well as book flights, list private and shared flights, and set Route Alert notifications through typed or dictated conversational inputs, without manual parameter entry. The agent supports export of results to CSV or Excel format and can handle multi-step requests, such as booking a charter flight while simultaneously listing available spaces on that flight for other flyers. Flight-sharing opportunities listed on the platform are confirmed once filled to a minimum of 50% capacity.

FlyJets Founder and CEO Jessica Fisher said the product was built around the company's goals of transparency, accuracy, and efficiency, and that the Beta version's simple conversational interface was upgraded based on client feedback into a more capable agent that can both extract data and facilitate transactions across the marketplace and exchange application. The launch coincides with the addition of fall and winter flight-sharing opportunities on the platform, and FlyJets said a 24/7 human advisory desk remains available alongside the AI agent. FlyJets operates as a New York State benefit corporation and is registered with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a travel agency; the company does not own or operate aircraft, with all charter flights provided by licensed air carriers.

What JetGPT V2 is planned to add

FlyJets said JetGPT V2 is planned to integrate with aircraft provider and flyer dashboards, fleet operating models, and sustainability solutions including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and carbon credits under FlyJets' FLYGreen Initiative®. V2 will also offer booking and pricing suggestions for sellers of charter spaces. JetGPT is accessible via the FlyJets web and mobile applications.

Industry impact & what to watch

This launch sits in a broader push by charter marketplaces and flight-sharing exchanges to replace manual quote requests and spreadsheet-style availability searches with conversational, agent-driven interfaces that pull directly from live operator and pricing datasets. Because FlyJets does not own or operate aircraft and instead functions as a registered travel agency connecting buyers with licensed carriers, the value it can add depends on how completely and accurately it aggregates third-party availability and pricing data, and on whether its 50% capacity threshold reliably converts listed flight-shares into confirmed flights.

The planned V2 integration with seller-side pricing suggestions and fleet operating models points to where this kind of tool matters most: not just helping flyers find space, but helping operators and sellers price and fill it. Tying future versions to SAF and carbon-credit options under the FLYGreen Initiative® also signals an attempt to fold sustainability choices into the same booking flow rather than treating them as a separate add-on.

What remains to be seen is how JetGPT V2's dashboard integrations and pricing suggestions perform once released, and how FlyJets' human advisory desk continues to factor in alongside an agent now capable of completing transactions on its own.
