Collins Aerospace Launches ARINCDirect OpenAPI to Integrate Flight Support Data Into Operators' Existing Systems
Why It MattersOpening flight support data to operators' own software moves flight departments toward connected, single-view operations and reduces their reliance on standalone flight support portals.
Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, has expanded its ARINCDirect flight support services with ARINCDirect OpenAPI, a capability that lets operators integrate ARINCDirect flight planning, trip and performance data directly into their existing digital platforms. The announcement was dated Oct. 21, 2026, from Las Vegas.

By connecting internal systems to ARINCDirect, customers and partners can automatically receive flight plan status, airspace information, trip performance and logbook data without re-keying or formatting information. Early adopters have integrated the API into the enterprise tools their flight departments already use, improving access to information, reducing manual data entry and delivering more timely updates across platforms. Collins Aerospace says the result is fewer manual steps for dispatchers, cleaner insights for crews and a shared operational picture across systems that previously required time-consuming workarounds. The modular design lets customers tailor how the interface connects with their existing systems and workflows.
Nicole White, vice president and general manager of Connected Aviation at Collins Aerospace, said business aviation flight schedules can shift by the minute and that flight departments need tools and real-time information that keep pace. She said the API integrates trusted, secure flight planning data directly into customers' operating systems, helping teams adapt quickly to changing plans. The capability supports Collins Aerospace's broader vision for airspace modernization, connecting aircraft, operators and the wider aviation ecosystem with more timely, actionable information.
