Piaggio Aerospace to Showcase P.180 Avanti EVO at NBAA-BACE and Update Avanti NX Programme
Why It MattersA returning light-turboprop maker pairing a 40-year-old airframe with a next-generation successor at the sector's largest US show signals continued commitment to the fast-turboprop segment rather than its retreat.
Piaggio Aerospace will return to the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) this October, bringing its P.180 Avanti EVO and highlighting development of the Avanti NX. The company is marking 40 years since the first flight of the P.180.

The aircraft combines high-speed performance, fuel efficiency and a spacious cabin in a three-lifting-surface configuration. The Avanti NX is a next-generation evolution of the aircraft that Piaggio Aerospace describes as building on the P.180 platform with new technologies and enhanced efficiency.
