Magnifica Air Recruits Across Three US Aviation Events Including NBAA-BACE as First Aircraft Enters Production

Why It MattersA start-up premium airline hiring flight, maintenance and ground staff ahead of launch adds new competition for scarce aviation talent and signals fresh demand in the private-style cabin segment.

Magnifica Air, the airline developing a "Private Class" product positioned between commercial first class and private aviation, is running a recruitment drive across three major US aviation events as it prepares to launch. The drive began at the Military Influencer Conference (MIC) Hiring Fair in Tampa on 26 September. It continues at the RTAG (the veteran to aviation charity) National Convention in Orlando on 17-18 October (booth 517) and at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas on 20-22 October (booth 4172-CF, in the Career Fair area).

The company said its presence at MIC and RTAG is aimed at veterans and the military-connected community, including aviation professionals exploring civilian careers. It is recruiting for key positions in Orlando, Florida, covering flight and ground operations, technical and maintenance teams, guest experience and corporate functions, and is also seeking to hear from pilots, flight attendants, technicians and customer service professionals interested in future positions. Benefits include 100% employer-paid employee-only medical coverage; employer-paid dental, vision and life insurance; and paid time off and holiday pay.

The airline plans to launch with a bespoke fleet of Airbus ACJ220-300 and ACJ321neo aircraft, each carrying up to 54 passengers with private suites and a surface purification system using patented Aviation Clean Air (ACA) technology. The first Airbus A220-300 is now in production. Magnifica Air was co-founded by Charles and Stacey Carey and Wade Black, who has more than 35 years of industry experience, and chief development officer Sean McGeough has held senior roles at Airbus Corporate Jets, Nextant and Hawker Beechcraft.
