Aviation Performance Solutions Launches Dedicated UPRT Programs for Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24

Aviation Performance Solutions (APS) has introduced dedicated Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) programs for the Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24, extending its business aviation training portfolio into single-engine turboprop and light-jet operations. The programs are priced from US$4,795, with introductory rates applying to a limited number of training slots through October 30, 2026, alongside preferred crew pricing.

The training architecture reflects the differing operating environments of each aircraft type, including single-pilot PC-12 operations into remote and short-field destinations and high-altitude PC-24 jet operations. The curriculum combines academics, all-attitude on-aircraft instruction, advanced simulation, jet UPRT and type-specific virtual reality, with customers able to choose simulator-only training or a comprehensive pathway including on-aircraft instruction. The program targets individual pilots, owner-pilots and flight departments.

APS said the launch builds on more than a decade of involvement with the Pilatus pilot community, including work with the Pilatus Owners and Pilots Association. Earlier in 2026, APS introduced aircraft-family UPRT programs for Gulfstream and Dassault pilots, as well as a Jet Transition Program using the SIAI-Marchetti S-211. "Pilatus aircraft give pilots tremendous capability and operational flexibility, requiring training that reflects the way these aircraft are actually flown," said Paul 'BJ' Ransbury, CEO of Aviation Performance Solutions.

APS is headquartered in Mesa, Arizona, with its primary training center at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, and operates a training fleet of six Extra 300L aircraft and three SIAI-Marchetti S-211 jets.
